1678 <p>I'm pleased to announce that I've accepted a position with Precision Insight,
1679 Inc. effective October, 1999. I'll be leaving Avid Technology in September.</p>

1681 Insight I now have the opportunity to devote my full attention to advancing Mesa
1682 and OpenGL on Linux.</p>

1724 Mesa is a free implementation of the OpenGL 3D graphics library and id's
1725 newest game, Quake 3 Arena, will use Mesa as the 3D renderer on Linux.

1728 improve performance on 3d hardware. Thanks to Keith's work, many
