* NEWS: Document "info variables" change.
* dwarf2read.c (new_symbol): Add file-scope external unresolved
symbols to global_symbols.
* symtab.c (search_symbols): Skip LOC_UNRESOLVED symbols.

doc/
* gdb.texinfo (Symbols): "info variables" prints definitions, not
declarations.
