X-Git-Tag: stable_2012_02_02~553^2~2^2^2~11 X-Git-Url: https://git.libre-soc.org/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=1aa9698fa00e8ffce9b8d3c90b3bd76c3c9e950e;p=gem5.git X86: Define fault objects to carry debug messages. These faults can panic/warn/warn_once, etc., instead of instructions doing that themselves directly. That way, instructions can be speculatively executed, and only if they're actually going to commit will their fault be invoked and the panic, etc., happen. --- diff --git a/src/arch/generic/debugfaults.hh b/src/arch/generic/debugfaults.hh new file mode 100644 index 000000000..acffadc34 --- /dev/null +++ b/src/arch/generic/debugfaults.hh @@ -0,0 +1,111 @@ +/* + * Copyright (c) 2010 Advanced Micro Devices + * All rights reserved. + * + * The license below extends only to copyright in the software and shall + * not be construed as granting a license to any other intellectual + * property including but not limited to intellectual property relating + * to a hardware implementation of the functionality of the software + * licensed hereunder.
