From 6812b6077e4a09eab08458428f09c28ec58fc514 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Ian Lance Taylor Date: Wed, 6 Apr 1994 22:00:40 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] * targets.c (bfd_target): Rearranged fields in target vector. Removed _bfd_debug_info_start, _bfd_debug_info_end and _bfd_debug_info_accumulate, which were never used. (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_GENERIC, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_COPY): Defined. (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_CORE, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_ARCHIVE): Defined. (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_SYMBOLS, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_RELOCS): Defined. (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_WRITE, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_LINK): Defined. * All backends: Changed to use the new BFD_JUMP_TABLE_* macros rather than the single JUMP_TABLE macro. Removed many of the weird macro definitions needed to support the monolithic JUMP_TABLE. * bfd-in.h (JUMP_TABLE): Removed. * libbfd-in.h: Define a bunch of macros, and declare a few functions, for use with the new BFD_JUMP_TABLE_* macros. * libbfd.c (_bfd_dummy_new_section_hook): Removed. (bfd_false): Set bfd_error_invalid_operation. (bfd_nullvoidptr): Likewise. (bfd_n1): New function. (_bfd_nocore_core_file_matches_executable_p): Renamed from _bfd_dummy_core_file_matches_executable_p. (_bfd_nocore_core_file_failing_command): Similar rename. Set bfd_error_invalid_operation. (_bfd_nocore_core_file_failing_signal): Likewise. (_bfd_generic_get_section_contents): Renamed from bfd_generic_get_section_contents. Changed all callers. (_bfd_generic_set_section_contents): Similar rename. * ieee.c: #if 0 out ieee_bfd_debug_info_start, ieee_bfd_debug_info_end, ieee_bfd_debug_info_accumulate. They were never called. * bfd-in2.h: Rebuilt. * libbfd.h: Rebuilt. --- bfd/ChangeLog | 34 +++++++++ bfd/aix386-core.c | 79 +++----------------- bfd/aout-adobe.c | 57 +++++++------- bfd/aout-target.h | 39 ++++------ bfd/bfd-in.h | 46 ------------ bfd/bfd-in2.h | 180 +++++++++++++++++++++++---------------------- bfd/bout.c | 75 ++++++++----------- bfd/cf-i386lynx.c | 98 ++++++++++++++++++++++++ bfd/cisco-core.c | 78 +++----------------- bfd/coff-a29k.c | 10 ++- bfd/coff-alpha.c | 17 +++-- bfd/coff-apollo.c | 160 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ bfd/coff-h8300.c | 10 ++- bfd/coff-h8500.c | 10 ++- bfd/coff-i386.c | 33 +++++---- bfd/coff-i960.c | 130 ++++++++++++++++++++------------ bfd/coff-m68k.c | 51 ++++++++----- bfd/coff-m88k.c | 53 +++++++------ bfd/coff-mips.c | 35 +++++---- bfd/coff-rs6000.c | 35 +++++---- bfd/coff-sh.c | 68 +++++++++-------- bfd/coff-sparc.c | 10 ++- bfd/coff-we32k.c | 109 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ bfd/coff-z8k.c | 32 +++++--- bfd/coffcode.h | 51 +++++-------- bfd/ecoff.c | 2 +- bfd/elf32-hppa.c | 10 +-- bfd/elf32-target.h | 46 +++++------- bfd/elf64-target.h | 43 +++++------ bfd/hppabsd-core.c | 85 +++++---------------- bfd/hpux-core.c | 82 +++++---------------- bfd/i386os9k.c | 56 +++++--------- bfd/ieee.c | 54 ++++++++------ bfd/irix-core.c | 82 +++++---------------- bfd/libaout.h | 12 +-- bfd/libbfd-in.h | 156 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++---- bfd/libbfd.c | 50 +++++++++---- bfd/libbfd.h | 156 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++---- bfd/libecoff.h | 91 ++++++++++++----------- bfd/mipsbsd.c | 22 +++++- bfd/nlm-target.h | 105 +++++++++----------------- bfd/oasys.c | 52 +++++++------ bfd/osf-core.c | 82 +++++---------------- bfd/ptrace-core.c | 78 +++----------------- bfd/som.c | 26 +++---- bfd/srec.c | 67 ++++++++--------- bfd/targets.c | 151 +++++++++++++++++++++++-------------- bfd/tekhex.c | 54 ++++++-------- bfd/trad-core.c | 78 +++----------------- 49 files changed, 1714 insertions(+), 1426 deletions(-) create mode 100644 bfd/cf-i386lynx.c create mode 100644 bfd/coff-apollo.c create mode 100644 bfd/coff-we32k.c diff --git a/bfd/ChangeLog b/bfd/ChangeLog index 53ef902d08b..df394938386 100644 --- a/bfd/ChangeLog +++ b/bfd/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,37 @@ +Wed Apr 6 17:24:14 1994 Ian Lance Taylor (ian@tweedledumb.cygnus.com) + + * targets.c (bfd_target): Rearranged fields in target vector. + Removed _bfd_debug_info_start, _bfd_debug_info_end and + _bfd_debug_info_accumulate, which were never used. + (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_GENERIC, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_COPY): Defined. + (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_CORE, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_ARCHIVE): Defined. + (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_SYMBOLS, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_RELOCS): Defined. + (BFD_JUMP_TABLE_WRITE, BFD_JUMP_TABLE_LINK): Defined. + * All backends: Changed to use the new BFD_JUMP_TABLE_* macros + rather than the single JUMP_TABLE macro.
