From 956f0babcd95bc7b6d2d79ea345abdd6f464e65f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mike Frysinger Date: Tue, 15 Jun 2021 20:58:31 -0400 Subject: [PATCH] sim: ppc: convert to bfd_endian Rather than re-invent endian defines, as well as maintain our own list of OS & arch-specific includes, punt all that logic in favor of the bfd ones already set up and maintained elsewhere. We already rely on the bfd library, so leveraging the endian aspect should be fine. This was done for all the other ports years ago, so catch ppc up. --- sim/ppc/ChangeLog | 22 ++++++++++++++++++++++ sim/ppc/altivec.igen | 26 +++++++++++++------------- sim/ppc/configure | 12 ++++++------ sim/ppc/configure.ac | 12 ++++++------ sim/ppc/emul_generic.c | 4 ++-- sim/ppc/options.c | 7 +++---- sim/ppc/psim.c | 6 +++--- sim/ppc/sim-endian-n.h | 8 ++++---- sim/ppc/sim-endian.c | 4 ++-- sim/ppc/std-config.h | 25 ++++++++++--------------- sim/ppc/vm.c | 8 ++++---- 11 files changed, 75 insertions(+), 59 deletions(-) diff --git a/sim/ppc/ChangeLog b/sim/ppc/ChangeLog index 723dc11fd46..3ef5b228e46 100644 --- a/sim/ppc/ChangeLog +++ b/sim/ppc/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,25 @@ +2021-06-16 Mike Frysinger + + * altivec.igen: Change BIG_ENDIAN to BFD_ENDIAN_BIG. + * configure.ac: Change LITTLE_ENDIAN, BIG_ENDIAN, & 0 to + BFD_ENDIAN_LITTLE, BFD_ENDIAN_BIG, & BFD_ENDIAN_UNKNOWN respectively. + * emul_generic.c: Likewise. + * options.c (options_byte_order): Likewise.
