From bac89d6ca8b50de6fb01ccbab2b006ededcfce36 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Fred Fish Date: Tue, 24 Nov 1992 03:02:10 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] * c-exp.y (yylex): Add tempbuf, tempbufindex, and tempbufsize, which together maintain a dynamically expandable static buffer for the lexer to use when translating C strings to their internal form (other future uses possible). Fix parsing of C style strings to do the normal C style input conversions of escaped character sequences. * valops.c (value_string): Remove translation of escaped character sequences, now done in C expression parser. --- gdb/ChangeLog | 8 ++++++ gdb/c-exp.y | 70 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++----------- gdb/valops.c | 78 ++++++++++++++++++++------------------------------- 3 files changed, 92 insertions(+), 64 deletions(-) diff --git a/gdb/ChangeLog b/gdb/ChangeLog index bd0852a187a..09d9c9a0f42 100644 --- a/gdb/ChangeLog +++ b/gdb/ChangeLog @@ -1,5 +1,13 @@ Mon Nov 23 11:14:15 1992 Fred Fish (fnf@cygnus.com) + * c-exp.y (yylex): Add tempbuf, tempbufindex, and tempbufsize, + which together maintain a dynamically expandable static buffer + for the lexer to use when translating C strings to their internal + form (other future uses possible).
