From c3f5525ff1aca37c64365fb3493e86cae5472ad2 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jan Beulich Date: Wed, 15 Jul 2020 08:55:20 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] x86: make PUSH/POP disassembly uniform Irrespective of their encoding the resulting output should look the same. Therefore wire the handling of PUSH/POP with GPR operands encoded in the main opcode byte to the same logic used for other operands. This frees up yet another macro character. --- opcodes/ChangeLog | 7 +++++++ opcodes/i386-dis.c | 50 +++++++++++++++++++--------------------------- 2 files changed, 27 insertions(+), 30 deletions(-) diff --git a/opcodes/ChangeLog b/opcodes/ChangeLog index 7fff03253aa..f5907bc8029 100644 --- a/opcodes/ChangeLog +++ b/opcodes/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,10 @@ +2020-07-15 Jan Beulich + + * i386-dis.c (dis386): Adjust 'V' description.
