4 Mesa 18.3.0 is a new development release. People who are concerned with
5 stability and reliability should stick with a previous release or wait
6 for Mesa 18.3.1.

8 Mesa 18.3.0 implements the OpenGL 4.5 API, but the version reported by
9 glGetString(GL_VERSION) or glGetIntegerv(GL_MAJOR_VERSION) /
10 glGetIntegerv(GL_MINOR_VERSION) depends on the particular driver being
11 used. Some drivers don't support all the features required in OpenGL
12 4.5. OpenGL 4.5 is **only** available if requested at context creation.
13 Compatibility contexts may report a lower version depending on each
14 driver.

16 libwayland-egl is now distributed by Wayland (since 1.15, `see
17 announcement <https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2018-April/037767.html>`__),
18 and has been removed from Mesa in this release. Make sure you're using
19 an up-to-date version of Wayland to keep the functionality.
